Cubs fans will receive their first bags of holding, which include bags of cotton and wool, from the team, the team said Tuesday.
The Cubs, who play in Chicago’s American League Park at Wrigley Field, said it will begin shipping bags of the new items to fans in late September.
The Cubs have not said what the bags will cost.
The bag of cotton will be made from the cotton of the local area and will be priced at $9.99 each.
The bags will be available through the team store and online at Cubs.com.
The first 100 fans who pre-order a bag of cloth will receive a $20 gift card to the team’s shop.
Fans can pre-purchase bags of cloth from the Cubs store beginning Sept. 3.
The company will offer free shipping to Chicago residents and the city of Chicago, where the Cubs play, as part of the promotion.
Cubs fans can also receive a free bag of wool, made from local wool, at the Cubs Shop and ShopRacks.
They will receive an email about their free wool purchase.
Fans will also receive two bags of wool each, made by the local company of the same name, for $12.99.
They can also choose from the following: $10.99 wool, $9 wool, or $7.99 yarn.
The team said fans can select from two other options: $15.99 or $15 wool, a total of four bags of five colors.
Fans may receive up to two bags for free.
The company said it has a plan to distribute the bags to Chicago and Chicago area retailers starting September 4.
